Spat
We overwinter and carry a small amount of spat (both diploids and triploids) over the winter months for pickup on an appointment basis. We start having a regular supply of spat again starting in the Apr/May timeframe depending on water temperatures.
Many Oyster Gardeners purchase spat several times a year in order to keep a good rotation of various size oysters on hand for harvesting.
